Tallpines is located very close to Twolegplace. It is a controlled forest, grown for the purpose of wood for Twolegs. Since it is controlled, the ground nearby is always bare, and can be a good spot to hunt for prey. The ground is also thick with layers of prickly, dead needles.

Sunningrocks is located at the very border between RiverClan and ThunderClan in the old forest, next to the river. It is a large, flat rock formation in full view of the sun, getting very warm, therefore, it is a desirable location for warriors to take a break or elders to get out and stretch their legs.

It is located near Snakerocks, east of the ThunderClan camp, closer to the ShadowClan border. It is one of the tallest trees in the forest, described as a gigantic tree with its crown stretching beyond the canopy that shields the sky. Its branches are strong all the way to the ends, and its roots are thick, twisting around its base and burrowing far into the earth.

Quite close to the Thunderpath, it is shadowed by the Great Sycamore, and is not too far from the camp. There is a leafy bank that spills onto the top of these rocks. Snakerocks are a tumbled pile of sand-colored, smooth, round rocks with weeds and plants growing between them. The rocks are a steep slope.

The river serves as a boundary between ThunderClan and RiverClan territories and also between the RiverClan and WindClan territories, where it flows through a very steep gorge. Fat, brown bulrush heads and dense reed forests are said to jut out of the river, along the bank.

Windover Farm is on the edge of WindClan territory, where cows, dogs, horses and sheep live. Nearby there is a broken Twoleg Nest. Inside, there is a warm smell of hay and the place is crawling with mice and rats. Two elderly Twolegs live nearby, occasionally leaving food such as tuna or milk out for the two loners, although the cats claim to like the mice better.

A twoleg dump--during leaf-bare, it provides ShadowClan with food when the rest of their prey is scarce, though they have to be cautious about diseases spread by the rats living there.

ShadowClan cats move freely across the most feared part of the Thunderpath. This has enhanced their reputation for mysterious strength and invincibility.

Highstones is the Clan term for an abandoned Twoleg mine in The Forest territories. They are the tall jagged peaks surrounding Mothermouth, the large cave opening leading to the Moonstone. It is home to the Moonstone, a sacred place to Clan cats. The Moonstone is a giant quartz crystal which has never known the warmth of the sun.

Twolegplace is the place where Twolegs live. The smell of Twolegplace differs to Clan cats very much. Its warm strange smells mix with the sour, tangy smell of the Thunderpath. No Clan cat is allowed to hunt here. A fence separates the forest and the Twolegplace.

A deep gorge cut by the river in the terrain, bordering RiverClan and WindClan. Apprentices are forbidden to go near it.

The Thunderpath is the oily path that monsters continually go on. It's hard, gray, and smell acrid or tangy. Many cats get injured or die on it, and it is feared by most cats. Cats have to cross the Thunderpath in order to get to the Moonstone. ShadowClan cats have to cross at every Gathering.

StarClan's hunting grounds are described as a moonlit night landscape in greenleaf, a land of mist and shadows. It resembles the landscape of The Forest, and several locations exist in both the waking world and in StarClan.
